The Chapel of St John Sarkander This chapel, dating from the beginning of the 20th century, stands on the site of the former town prison, in which St. John Sarkander was tortured. It boasts an unusual stone and statue work, as well as an non-traditional exposition of torture devices in the cellar.

The Chapel of St John Sarkander is a three-storey Neo-Baroque structure covered by a cupola with a lantern. In the central elliptic part is a circular floor opening where a rack from the time of Sarkander is situated. The adjoining staircase is decorated by a statue of St Jan Nepomucký and a statue St Jan Sarkander sits in the corner niche.
