Safari in the Olomouc Zoo

For this year, the Olomouc Zoo at Svaty Kopeček, near Olomouc, is already preparing a unique attraction. The Euro-Asian section, the first one of the Olomouc safari, will be opened. The other four parts of the safari programme should be opened by 2015, when, besides the Euro-Asian section, the Olomouc safari will also offer American, African, Australian and Arctic sections. Visitors will be allowed to pass through herds of freely moving animals on a sightseeing train. In the Euro-Asian section you will be able to see, for example, European bison, elk, sika deer, rock goats, fallow deer and mountain goats. In the next year, the American section should be opened, with the first wolf safari in Europe. The African section will be opened in 2014 and the Australian and Arctic sections in 2015. The Olomouc Zoo Safari is a unique project in the Czech Republic.
